伴随着经济增长和生活节奏不断加快，城市交通面临的困境日益凸显。堵车——这一“城市病”由中国的一线城市向二三线城市蔓延。全国667个城市中，约有三分之二的城市交通在高峰时段出现拥堵。机动车增长带来的交通压力，困扰着都市生活，从这些堵车时人们脸上的表情可以看出，堵车其实也是在堵心。（摄于2010年和2011年）

Accompanied by economic growth and the accelerating pace of life, urban transport dilemma is increasingly obvious in China. Traffic jams – the “urban disease” -is spreading in the second and third tier cities in China’s urban. As of the end of 2011, the Chinese vehicle population has exceeded two hundred million. Traffic congestion appears in about two-thirds of the 667 cities nationwide during peak hours. Growth in motor vehicle traffic pressure plagued city life.
